Zakary played a critical role in the X-Files team at Evinova, where his primary responsibilities included troubleshooting and supporting two CMS systems. He was instrumental in a large migration project, tasked with maintaining and creating pipelines to efficiently migrate content between CMS platforms. His work ensured seamless data transition, minimized downtime, and maintained content integrity throughout the migration process.

At Ellos, Zakary was part of a dynamic team responsible for overhauling the checkout page. The project involved developing the new checkout system using VueTS and Nuxt, aimed at improving the user experience and streamlining the checkout process. He also used analytics tools such as Mouseflow, Elastic Search, and APM to monitor user interactions and performance, and integrated Adyen’s payment service to provide a secure and efficient checkout process, resulting in increased user satisfaction and conversion rates.

Zakary served as the Solution Owner for a third-party integration project at Parcellabs. The project focused on enabling customers to track their orders in real-time. Using VueTS and NuxtTS, he developed a robust tracking system that interoperated with various logistics providers. His role included managing the integration, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing the user interface for seamless tracking. This project significantly improved customer engagement and satisfaction by providing timely and accurate order information.

In the OpenCMS project, Zakary was part of a specialized team tasked with recreating the FAQ page using a custom content management system. The backend was developed using Express and Zod, while the frontend used NuxtTS. His contributions included designing the architecture, implementing the backend services, and developing a responsive and user-friendly frontend interface. This project improved the accessibility and usability of the FAQ section, giving users quick and easy access to information.

As a member of the Storefront team, Zakary developed a new feature that allows customers to order custom-length curtains. The project involved creating a user-friendly interface using NuxtJS and implementing end-to-end testing with Playwright to ensure functionality and reliability. His responsibilities included collaborating with designers to create an intuitive layout, coding the front-end logic, and performing rigorous testing. This feature improved the customer shopping experience by offering more personalized product options.

Zakary developed a web solution for Plumcare, a B2B client in the US that sells home DNA testing kits. Using VueJS and Bootstrap, he created his first client-facing web application. The project involved working closely with designers to transform design templates into a functional website, implement API integrations, and ensure the website was responsive and user-friendly. This experience honed his skills in customer communication, project management, and full-stack development.
